Can GutterAxis create gutter diagrams?
Yes. GutterAxis includes a job diagram editor that loads satellite imagery of the property and lets you draw the gutter layout directly on the roof. You place gutter runs as traced polylines, set downspouts on run segments, mark roof edges and site objects, and the system detects inside and outside miters from the run geometry automatically. The diagram flows from the estimate editor into the customer proposal and onto the installer job sheet; drawn once, it appears on every document.
Does GutterAxis calculate gutter material quantities?
Yes. Material quantities are calculated automatically from the diagram geometry. Gutter linear footage, total footage, inside and outside miter count, end caps, downspout count, elbow count, downspout linear footage, and leaf protection footage are all derived from the job layout, not entered manually. A configurable waste factor adjusts quantities for material ordering. GutterAxis does not currently calculate hangers, sealant, or fastener quantities.
Can customers sign proposals digitally?
Yes. GutterAxis sends the homeowner a secure proposal link by email. The homeowner opens the full branded proposal (scope of work, gutter diagram, itemized pricing, and terms) on any device without logging in or creating an account. They draw a signature via touch or mouse. The signed proposal is stored and viewable by both the homeowner and contractor. When the homeowner signs, a job is created automatically on the contractor's account. No re-entry required.
Does GutterAxis create installer job sheets?
Yes. When a proposal is signed, a job record is created automatically and an installer job sheet is available immediately. The sheet includes customer info, property address, gutter specification (size, profile, color), all run measurements, miter and downspout details, leaf protection quantities, material order quantities with a configurable waste factor, production notes, the gutter diagram, and scheduling information if a crew has been assigned.
Does GutterAxis include crew scheduling?
Yes. When a homeowner signs a proposal, the resulting job lands automatically in the unscheduled queue on the Production Board. No manual entry needed. The Production Board is a weekly crew calendar where office staff drag unscheduled jobs onto a crew and date to assign them. Crew names are defined per company, so the board reflects your actual team. Once a job is scheduled, the assigned crew name and install date appear on the installer job sheet, giving crews everything they need in one document.
